It tackles current issues rather than talking about your past. Like any treatment, CBT is not for everyone. Those with very severe anxiety might find that CBT alone is not enough to overcome their issues. The number of sessions you require will also depend greatly on your current state of mind and your individual response to the situation.
Meditate for 10 Minutes Every Day
Anxiety can be tamed with meditation. It’s not the solution for everyone, but it’s reported to help many people can a better hold on their anxious thoughts. Meditation is actually a very simple process. There isn’t a secret to mastering it other than practising every day. To meditate all you need to do is find a quiet space and focus your attention on your breath, breathing in and out slowly. When thoughts enter your head, let them pass by, but bring your attention back to your breath. It’s hard to believe this very simple process could have such an impact, but, for years it has been used as a tried and tested method.
